How to manage your news collection

As your collection of newsfeeds and subscriptions grows, your Favorites tree may require some pruning. You may also want to reorganize your newsfeeds, or even store some away for future retrieval. The following is a summary of Favorites management procedures.

Deleting a newsfeed, category, or subscription

Moving a newsfeed or category to another category

The easiest way is to drag the newsfeed or category and drop it into the desired category.

A different way for moving newsfeeds is:

  1. Right-click on the newsfeed and select Properties from the popup menu.
  2. Choose a new location for the newsfeed from the Category tree.
  3. Note: If the selected newsfeed exists elsewhere in the tree, a message appears to alert you of that fact. The selected reference is then removed in deference to the other location in which the feed was found.
